Debit Card Car Hire at Podgorica Airport
Pre-Paid (VISA / Mastercard), Cash and Electronic Use Cards are accepted as a form of payment only.
No accepted under any circumstances are American Express and Diners.
Purchasing the Green Motion Premium PLUS package allows you to use your debit card to cover the small deposit.
The accepted cards listed above must be in the main driver’s name, have sufficient funds to cover the excess liability and have an expiration date of at least 2 months beyond the return date of the rental. All cards must have both the card number and expiry date clearly visible; cards without these details cannot be accepted. If a valid card is not provided, the booking may be cancelled, and no refund will be issued for any prepaid amount.
In the event that the original booking was paid for utilising a third-party credit or debit card, hirers may be required to present details, permissions and authorisation relating to the transaction. Failure to provide the information requested may result in the hire being refused.
Please be aware that if you use your debit card for the security deposit and/or the fuel deposit it can take up to 30 days for this to reach your account once it has been refunded by the car hire supplier at the end of the rental. This is due to the international banking systems not due to delays by either the car rental company or Clarify Car Hire.
Please note that payment for the rental or deposit via a mobile wallet such as Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay etc. will not be accepted at the hire desk. The lead driver must present a physical payment card in their name.
The supplier accepts Visa, MasterCard and Amex credit cards. Cash deposits and cheques are not acceptable.
Debit cards are accepted for both the security deposit or final payment. Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Maesto debit cards are accepted. Hertz must be able to preauthorise the payment and security deposit on the card - if in doubt, please check with your financial institution that preauthorisations are allowed on your card.
If you choose to use a debit card, the deposit will be charged to your debit card - this means you will have to ensure there is sufficient money on the card to cover the deposit, and be aware that this will be unavailable until it is refunded. It can take longer to clear the money then a credit card with a period of 30 days being typical. This is due to the processes employed by banks rather than any delay from the hire company. Due to the period this can take we recommend considering taking Hertz's Full Insurance as most customers find this more convenient. Neither Hertz or Clarify Car Hire take any responsibility for a lower amount being refunded than was debited due to exchange rate fluctuations or bank charges.

Unless the Premium Package is taken a Visa, Mastercard Credit Card or AMEX is mandatory. The main driver must have a Card in their own name when collecting the vehicle. This card must have sufficient available credit to cover the excess / deposit amount (which will be pre-authorised on the Card throughout the hire period) which can take up to 30 days to be returned depending on the issuing bank of the card. Any local charges, extras or other equipment or services purchased at the car hire desk will also be charged to the card.
If the Premium Package is taken, you can use a Visa, Maestro or Mastercard debit card - you will be asked to leave details of your card on pickup. Please note, this deposit may take up to thirty (30) days to be returned to your debit card depending on the issuing bank of the card and neither OK Mobility nor Clarify Car Hire take any responsibility if the amount returned is not the same as the amount taken due to exchange rate fluctuations and/or bank charges. The card must be in the main driver's name. Any local charges, extras or other equipment or services purchased at the car hire desk will also be charged to the card.

Moreover, it is necessary that the driver’s credit card has enough credit to cover the amount which will be frozen on it as a warranty upon pick up of the vehicle.
SicilyBy Car accept international American Express, Visa/Mastercard. No cash deposit or cheques will be accepted. In addition to the rental cost, Sicily by Car asks for a precautionary deposit as a warranty through a pre-authorisation/charge on the credit/debit card. It is important for the Client to remember the Credit Card PIN Number in case the bank requires it for the transaction at the desk.
Debit card procedure:
Non-electronic and non-embossed debit cards can be accepted only upon the payment of a “debit card” supplement (see prices below). The delivery of the vehicle with a debit card is subject to the incontestable discretion of the desk representative. If the card is accepted, then the same deposit will be applied as to customers with a credit card.
