Debit Card Car Hire at Bratislava Airport
Maestro, Electron and Cash will be accepted for rental payments only.
American Express, Dinners, non-embossed cards, Chinese Union pay credit cards and pre-paid cards will not be accepted for either a security deposit or final payment.
A credit/debit card in the driver's name is always required. The excess amount will be blocked and released upon vehicle return. If the renter’s credit/debit card is not valid or does not have the sufficient amount for the deposit required, a car will not be provided. In this situation, the booking will be cancelled with no refund due.
Please be aware that if you use your debit card for the security deposit and/or the fuel deposit it can take up to 30 days for this to reach your account once it has been refunded by the car hire supplier at the end of the rental. This is due to the international banking systems not due to delays by either the car rental company or Clarify Car Hire.
Please note that payment for the rental or deposit via a mobile wallet such as Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay etc. will not be accepted at the hire desk. The lead driver must present a physical payment card in their name.
Cash payments, cheques, prepaid cards, debit cards and unembossed cards other than credit cards are not accepted. . The renter allows the deposit plus estimated rental cost to be drawn from the credit card at the beginning of rental to cover any excess/self-risk, fuel, penalties or any other unforeseen cost. The final statement will be done soonest possible after the vehicle has been checked in. The credit card must be in the lead driver's name.
Debit cards (Visa and MasterCard only) are allowed for final payment and deposit (if allowed by the bank). American Express are not allowed. The debit card must be in the lead driver's name.
